The Alloy Steel F11 Flanges contain chromium at around 1.0%, molybdenum at about 0.5%, carbons of around 0.05%-0.15% and small amounts of manganese, phosphorus, and silicon. They have very good mechanical properties: tensile strength 415 MPa, yield strength 205 MPa, and at least an elongation of 20% which indicates good ductility. They have these benefits from high resistance to corrosion, scaling, and oxidation with time under intense heat.
