The secret behind ABREX Plates lies in their unique alloyed steel formulation, which blends controlled carbon with manganese, silicon, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and other micro-alloying elements. This mixture is then processed through quenching and tempering to create a fine, wear-resistant microstructure. Depending on the specific grade (like ABREX 400, 450, 500, or 600), the Brinell hardness can range from around **360 HBW to 650 HBW**, ensuring excellent resistance to sliding abrasion, impact, and heavy loads.
