S355J2+N plates and sheets are balanced composition low-alloy structural steel containing carbon (≤0.22%), manganese (≤1.60%), silicon (≤0.55%), phosphorus (≤0.025%), sulfur (≤0.025%), and trace elements such as nitrogen and copper. They provide superior mechanical properties with a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa and tensile strength between 470-630 MPa. The material possesses better impact resistance, as tested at -20°C (Charpy V-notch 27J), guaranteeing long-term durability in tough conditions.
